    Default Hook Size?

I pour my own jigs, I am sorta new to it but have made some molds out of plaster of paris. I have been looking all over the net for some blank jig hooks, in size 12-16. the smallest I was able to find was size 12. Does anyone know where I can buy in bulk a size 14? Also what size hook do yo guys normally tie in?

Does anyone on here sell hooks in bulk?please contact me , I am looking for size 12 and 10 hooks

    Thumbs up bluegill

lostfisher1, I can't help you with the little jig hook sources so you can pour your own
I have been using mostly1/80 oz.#8 ,less1/80 oz#10. and a few1/80 oz 12s. That is for my calf tail hair jigs. They are reasonable from many sources on this site.
I sometimes tie a sparkle jig on the 1/124th oz chrome head with a 12 hook that is a killer for gills.
I like those tiny jigs and so do the big gills at times.
Wish I could be of more help, ole Mike

Well to my knowledge, a #12 is the smallest you can get in a jig hook. If you want to go any smaller you will have to fall back on a fly hook or a regular hook of some sort and try to get it to fit your molds. Good Fishin'...GF
