    Oh i think they see color it isn't a black and white deal but what i am wondering and this can be proven with the right equipment but what colors do they see. and is it uv colors that they see. if so we could wash our jigs in regular washing powder and they would be even more bright. to the fish not us. be like a lightbulb to them.

    thanks guys for the responses, i tried to hand off the hobby to two sons but three weeks waiting for stents and getting over them and it's too late now. Done seven more this morning.--shu

    most any color will work if fish are active. Like some informed fisherman said, red/char is hard to beat anytime.
