    Excellent job on your home made fluid bed. Used FBs (mostly for larger jig) but like using brushes now. If you are interested – I have micro-mesh screen used for the cup medium – PM me your snail mail. You don’t need as much air to lift the paint.

    I used a ¼” NPT X ¼” (quick-connect) tubing fitting on my base and only one entry. Made it easier to swap colors – change the FB instead of the cups. It was easy to store. faster for changing, and less mess. Your base configuration looks like it creates a whirlpool. Another way you can attach the tubing to the cup is to use ¼” tube unions – glue one end into the cup and use the other end to attach the tubing.
