Like Gene said... heat is the answer. Just hold the metal tube of the bobbin over a lighter flame and the superglue will burn off very quickly.

By the way, you can use this same technique to keep those little superglue tubes fresh for a LONG time. In the past, I would open one of the things and it would become useless after a few days because the glue would harden in the tip, etc.

Now I use a hypodermic needle whose base fits snugly onto the end of the glue tube. When i am done with using the glue, I just let the glue harden in the needle. When i need the glue next, I just hold a flame under the needle, a little "puff" of superglue burns out, and the glue can be used just as if you had only opened it a few seconds ago.

I have kept these little tube usable for months this way getting every last drop out of them.

I got this tip long ago from a guy that builds model airplanes and it works perfectly.
