First Crappie Jig

I agree with Skip. You DO NOT want the chennille to interfere with the gap where the fish bites your jig.

I gotta disagree with you guys here. I tie my chenille farther back to around the hook barb, like this woolly bugger:



I find that it prevents the marabou from fouling on the hook.

To each, his own, though. The best thing about tying is you can make your jigs to suit YOU.
