    Default Trying something new


    Tinkering around with rabbit strips looking for a two tone look on some of my bass jigs so tried wrapping the bodies with two colors of crosscut rabbit at the same time. It works pretty good, only tricky part is trimming two strips at the finish instead of one, clipped the thread a couple times. Jigs are 1/4 oz with 3/0 Mustads. Blades were hand painted as well.     Those will work...But may capture the attention of some toothy critters as well...

    Those look awesome and the color choices are spot on. The rubber legs are a nice touch and eliminate the need for a trailer that a lot of folks add to those. A lot of thought in those.
