Thanks SD. I have a magnum Grizzly cape and even measuring against the hook I struggle getting the tail shorter. Will have to use a ruler!

I usually do length of hook or shorter, well try to anyway. I think if they aren’t biting good they are more likely to short strike with longer tails.

Just tied one up using muskrat fur from muskrat that my grandson trapped and my daughter tanned.
