The best glow in the dark powder paint-


The issue is that all glow in the dark paints do glow, but do so faintly or briefly. Hands down the best results will be with the lime green stuff. I have Protect blue, orange, green, and yellow and none are very pleasing in this regard. They offer a huge UV reflection though.

If you wish to get the very best glow in the dark effect, I suggest that you order the white paint I mentioned, and with it get a container of plain old clear. I use the clear with UV enhancers, but you want plain plain just clear. Then order your glow stuff elsewhere and mix.

Tech No products dot com has a fair deal on the best stuff there is. It is called V2 powder. About 15 years back I bought some on a lark, and mixed it with clear and it worked. I was painting surf fishing sinkers with it and in the dark could watch them soar out to sea.

Get the V2 in the number 1 version, with the bright lime green look to it. Mix it into the clear powder paint very very well. Then use it just like a regular powder paint, over top of a base coat of white and be ready to be impressed. Your stuff will glow brighter than any other powder and will glow for a long time. So you could charge it up, cast it a mile and watch it go the whole way after the cast. You can see your lure underwater when it is dark. Whatever. It will glow for a long time, too.

V2 powder can be purchased elsewhere as well. I have no experience with the other colors of V2, but I imagine they will not offer the same performance. They likely will be better than the Proteck stuff though. Most glow in the dark stuff glows good until you set the flashlight down, LOL
