Flake paint curing

One thing I found on flake colors and candy was the head temp when I dipped. Was heating them to a count of 10 like I do regular colors. That seemed to pick up to much paint and caused runs. Might try cutting heat time in half dip and see if it picks up paint if not add another count until it gets right. When doing that I don’t have any trouble curing at 325 for 30

I usually only do a 2 count per side on a 1/32. I try to air a little on the too cool side if anything. I'll keep playing with it.
