Not flashy and eye catching, and you don’t even have smallies over there, but I have an idea. A dark tan to medium brown body and a burnt orange tail with a couple of strands of a dark orange or brown flash would be a knockout for the smallmouth. The flash of silver worked better for them fished deep on clear days but gold worked very well almost all the time. I always like your color choices so I know you’ll pick some winners. I’ll be watching to see what you decide on.
