Grey Ghost with a Work Vest

Almost too tired to tie this evening after a long day fishing. Caught a lot of 8-9" fish, lost a pretty good one.

Grey was still doing as good as any other jig today, the fish just were not very active and difficult to entice.

Managed one jig after jump starting my brain:

White tail with a red thread neck works well for me in spring also. I have used bucktail, marabou, and V cuts from hackle feathers for the tail.. they all seem to work well.

There may be a white with red somewhere in my collection, but may as well make a few more!
