That’s a great adaptation and I believe it’s gonna work just fine. About the flash, play with it some. Maybe a couple of strips down the side where the lateral line might be. Start with some on the hook shank, inside the body, maybe some on top near the hook point. Never know when you might stumble into a real winner. Very nice jig!

Thank you skeetbum, yep, I'm gonna be busy the next few days for sure. I need to finish sealing that floor, Momma absolutely refused to let do it yesterday. Then rip out some Kitchen cabinets, replace the particle board sub-floor, relace with new ones along with a new countertop. If I have any energy left after that Maybe get some tying done, LOL. But these need to be done before the 4th when daughter and her husband flies in...

Thank you DockShootinJack, Those My Son-In-Law will be taking back to AZ. I'm waiting on my check the 31st to get some more tying material and hooks. All in all he'll have about 25-30 in a fly box as well as some other goodies. Grandson will be getting a full set up for his birthday this year...

You can tie many patterns on jig heads you just have to remember that most of them will have to be tied hook up to look right.
