Absolutely possible to build. I do think of there was a big enough of a market for it, that it would already exist. Much like CNC machining equipment only shines when parts are made in quantity. I am going to do some research. I believe the automatic machines already exist in the mass production world

Have also seen it before and while it's not the fastest thing going, it's a cool idea and makes for a neat finish!

The Herters is a knockoff of a Thompson. The green colored vise is a Universal. I've also seen that auto tyer and there was one listed on Ebay a few years ago but the guy said it didn't work.

Thank you for the information. Seems like the auto tyer would be fairly straight forward to repair. Looks like all consists of is 2 pulleys joined by a belt
