Thanks all! I've got some hackle, chenille, and thread ordered from ebay & crazyangler, just to get started. I already have glue and a bunch of jig heads to practice on. I have some jigs that I already know are very effective I plan to model to start - a basic gray and a basic gold/chartreuse (that one also slays the trout in the 'hooch).

I'd like to check out The Fish Hawk, they have a stellar rep locally, but it may as well be on the moon. I rarely go to Buckhead, or anywhere ITP. I hate going thru or around ATL when I travel to fish, but that I can stand, as I go very early while the city slickers, hippies, and thugs are still sleeping. I lived and went to school there, and played blues guitar in bands at every joint and dive that had blues in town for years. Still do sometimes, but I'd rather fish these days. Now, my daughter works near there, and can probably go pick up some stuff for me - there's an idea.
