    Default Marrabou

What marrabou are you using? What's a good quality feather for crappie jigs?

I like the Blood Quills, but depending on the look you want the select are also very good, just the barbules are a tad shorter and maybe more fuzzy? I have used both and on both I do not use the stem in the tie. I save all the tips for short jigs later on so I have a lot of tips in zip lock bags, lol! I may use a tip in 5% to 10%, but only if I can hide it in s it's not standing out from the rest and is very thin.

I don't want the fuzzy look. I want clean barbules if possible

I use blood quill also. And I don’t like the fuzzy stuff either.

For sure Blood Quills! Also know some brands are a little better as far as the shape them come in. All will come with some stuck together from the dying and drying, but a thumb nail and finger can fix that fast enough. Also sometimes the parts you have to unstick may have some White still showing, but as long as it's not too much I wouldn't worry about it. Besides White stuff Fluoresces so that can't hurt!
