Looks great and as you’ve said, I’m sure it catches.
Only suggestion I would make is to not whip and cut your thread before doing your weave. No need to weaken your foundation. It doesn’t make sense to me. More than enough room to complete it all with the bobbin at the head.

I need to learn how to use that whip tool myself,,, looks to make things easier and quick,,, i learned old school and half hitched everything and it stuck,,,time for me to use better equipemnt
