Was the black/chart jig's tail made from belly hair?

Good start. Yes same color thread as body or head, I use body mostly. Then don't cut the ends of the tail so they are not natural looking. If the Pink one is marabou, you want natural looking tips and not looking so cut off. Enough for now.

Yes, just watch the length and if you want it shorter, cut the end you trying in to cut. I like kind of a long tail personally and some like it shorter, but personally just don't think a little longer tail hurts anything when they are active as they will just inhale the whole thing. The way you have these now look more natural and will swim with better action!
