I tried something close to that, but it didn't really go over well with other guys and still have a lot of the material just sitting there!
Will be interesting to see how it does for you.

I picked this up today at Hobby Lobby. It's a 65%polyester /35%metallic blend and it's 111 yards worth for $6. I've had it soaking in water for a few hours now and started pulling on it without it coming apart. They had 6 or 7 other colors but wanted to test it first. I'll post a pic of the first jig I tie with it. Has anyone else used this stuff and if so how did it work?

In honor of St. Patty's day and the colors I'll call it Leprechaun Assassin...

Also know as eyelash yarn - if you stroke the fibers back as you tie it in it can be a nice material for your jigs.

Thanks for the tip...I was fighting trying to get it looking a little less chaotic.

What it looks like in hand, then in water is two diff worlds.
That jig looks swweeeeeet.
I'd use it on 1/8 head n knock em in the head

That's what it's on is 1/8 head and in the water the stuff fluttered pretty good. Of course under 5 ft here at Truman Lake they'll never see the flash...
