I go to more than most in the painting portion of that. I use wood tooth picks that I cut even smaller on the point and when I dip a head in the powder paint I stick the tooth pick for that color through the eye cleaning it out. Then usually I don't have to do anything to it when I tie. I tried the home made fluid beds and didn't like how they worked compared to a bought one with the membrane in the cups and all! I also all some clear powder into most colors of powder paint as it lets them fluff much easier if you do that. Ask other questions if need be!
