    I like the duo lock snaps. I find them easiest to use and the reverse turn on the wire makes them a bit stronger than the others IMHO. The ones Skip spoke of also work well and I have a mess of those also. When my hands don't cooperate I use a pair of foreceps, or hemostats to work them. We all have our days.......

    Man Skeet I didn't have good luck with that kind of snap. I was using these when I lived down near Corpus and was fishing Redfish in the bay system. I even landed a nice Red about 10 pounds with a snap that came open, but think that was the only time I ever had one of them open and Redfish are a lot stronger than crappie! The Cross Lock kind were for me the best at staying closed.
