Default Looking for easy to bend hooks

I pour my own jigs for hobby and to make them the way I prefer. Lately I have been fishing really light line for SC&BG and snags have turned into break offs. Is there an option for really light wire hooks that would straighten out and turn loose w/out breaking the line. And who knows maybe the catfish would release themselves also.

On another note could some one recommend a knot to tie small aberdeen bait hooks. I do try the polamar but it is tough to push the line through twice.(eye sight stinks) I use the trilene knot and I think the sharpness of the eye is cutting my line. Or is the spool of 4 lb vicious hi-.vis line old.

    Thanks

Litewirehooker(Curtis) on the Ga. Board uses light wire hooks on his jigs. I think he sells the hooks also. Give him a shout and he should have what you need.

On the line question I would think the line may be the problem. I can't imagine the hook cutting the line. I use the uniknot on my jigs.

Lite wires bend easily for sure even with lighter mono. I use a loop knot on almost all jigs. Three passes with mono, four passes with braid

there is also the mustad crappie lite jighook which is lite enough to bend out with 4lb. test a lot of the time. I like the size 4 the best, it is really sharp too, I think the model number is 32889. and then you have the litewire jighooks used by litewirehooker which are custom eagle claws and I'm told are also very sharp and even liter wire than the mustads and come in more sizes.
