I hear ya!! love the prices but not the wait times - but truthfully theres not a lot I NEED.

Actually shocked my wife one time, went in a fly shop and actually walked out with nothing!!! If I keep doing that she'll think I don't need any new toys!!!!!LOL

Don't know why people keep ordering from him! I've ordered from him and got my first order within a week. Next 2 orders were over month before I got them. I would rather pay more and get my stuff before the season is over. Not worth the wait! But I am an impatient man!

I have sent several email inquiries over the last couple of years and have NEVER gotten a reply.

Got my order in today. Couple of items missing, but not a big deal.
Placed order on 19Mar2016. I did reach him on the phone on Sunday
@ 17:10. Took me by surprise. Told me he was shipping my order on Monday
(04Apr2016) and I should receive it on Wednesday (06Apr2016). So all in
all 17 days total from date of order to receipt of goods.

My first order for tying supplies was placed with him. Then I read on here how slow he can be so I went ahead and ordered the same stuff again from grizz (can't have too much right?). I had gotten my stuff from grizzly and tied a whole box of jigs, fished for a month, then one day my bobs order came... Took almost 2 months. I haven't been a repeat customer. I'd rather spend more to get my stuff in a reasonable amount of time!

Order shipped today that was placed late February. Absolutely no communication or answering of inquiries. The absolute last time I will place an order. Have ordered almost weekly since then through CA and longest wait was three days.

I have never ordered anything from him even back when I first started, but I am not sure he was there then. I would have thought I would have found him before I built my accounts up so that I almost never order from retailers and it's been that way for a lot of years now. I am posting this because I see these threads from time to time and they never change. It's always the same story so I just can not figure out why guys keep ordering unless his prices are just that low? Guess I need to take a look see at his site to see why this is a repeat showing on this board many times. It's just a shame that all these guys, many new end up having to have this madding supply thing happen. Not what new guys to this hobby need to experience as mostly this is a super hobby with lots of guys willing to help out new tiers!

Gonna look at his prices to see the draw and come back to post.
