My neck of the woods a lot of chartreuse - but I have all the colors or I try and dye what I need.

The chartreuse does go well with Texas Toast & black. I will start using it more.

While standing around waiting for my wife in the doctor's office I pick up a fishing magazine can't even remember which one.Might have been Texas Trophy Fishing. They had the ten mistakes that crappie fisherman make most often. On color selection they had pick any color you want as long as it is chartreuse. I will say this black and chartreuse works here but if you want to boat big fat slab crappies all the time have a little red in your pattern. I chose to use red tinsel most of the time and mostly use red thread to tie the collar. Lakes do have a preference as far as color. Chartreuse is one that appears to be a universal color that crappies are attracted to. Lake Okoboji where I use to fish while living in Iowa it was White, Blue, and Red. I think it has something to do with the bait fish in the lake you are fishing.

As I get older I am finding out there are only to absolutes in life. You are going to have to pay taxes and you are going to die one day.
