No special turning tool needed with epoxy paint. I mix my a and b and brush on. The durability is comparable to powder but the benefit to me is that I can paint heads without covering the hook eye. Yes there are ways to do same with powder but then the time per jig increases. Also no rush for me to change as I have about $2k worth of epoxy paint on hand ;-)
