A few weedless horseheads.

Some 1/8 x 2 sickle horse heads with EP fiber bodies I tied yesterday. I had previously modified my mold to accept 1/16" inserts so that I could powder paint the heads and tie the bodies and insert the weedguard at the end of the tie. I coat the threads and attach the weedguard with clear goo hydro at the same time as the last step.

Cray it is a lot easier and faster to powder paint them this way. No crane swivel to tape up and cover.

Which insert did you use, if you don't mind? Looks as if it would give the swivel and blade a lot more movement.

Really interesting way yo do that insert, I like that idea. Not sure I care about the weedless part much, but that is just me a weedless jigs for Crappie, however I do like that split ring attachment. I don't get into enough snags with my Roadrunners/Pony heads to worry about the weedless part, but that's just me. Now bass fishing is a whole different matter for me.

Dang Tommy, those are fantastic. Not only does it paint better it lets the blade run back and turn a lot easier. Nice work and good use of the wire eye.
