    Default Messing around with flys

I have been looking at some of the fly ties here on the board and decided to give it a try. This is what I came out with after a bit of cussing and head banging.

I haven't tried them yet, hope to take a couple to my Buddie's pond later today.

Looks like something that should work for you! Hey though if your after Blue Gills make sure to tied your self a few Brim Killers! They work awesome and easy to fish. Just cast them out and let sink while you watch you line of a jerk!

Good job and love to see guys leave their comfort zone and do something different! I think it's good for the soul and head!

Good ties! Hackle on flies can be a pain if you're not used to it.

Those are way better than average. You might try wrapping some copper or lead wire on the shank of the hook before you wrap the body to help them sink, if that's an option. Good colors and nice ties.

Those will get some fish on your line. Some great color combos and the one on the right bottom just draws my eye to it. Thanks for posting the pics.
