They will catch fish, but like we talked about just overlap the chenille a little and stop up against the head. However your doing just fine, take your time and they will look way better in just a short time. You will see a big difference in just a couple weeks of tying. I am not talking about tying all day each day either, just tie a few every day and it will come!
