Default Tied Some Bream Killers For An Old Friend

These are all on #10 and #8 Curved fly hooks.

Then one with just one each of the color legs I used on these. Keep in mind the White legs is the real pattern.

I used mostly #10, but pattern calls for the #10 or #8 bent hook and the brand I used was Daiichi 1270.
Wrap thread from near eye to the bend and back a little. Then wrap about 1/4" of lead wire in size .015 and about mid shank.
Wrap thread back to past lead wire and back again after lead is secure. The tie in some #2 Black Nylon chenille at the read and wrap forward to past the lead, trap good ad then bring the thread using large wraps back to near middle of the chenille and make a couple wraps.
Take 4 strands of skirt material about double the hook length and tie in 2 on each side and then once secure wrap forward to end of chenille.
Cut about a pencil lead size bit of squirrel tail and cut to length so when tied in it will extend to about the end of the hook.
    Tie off and Head Cement.
Note I also put a tiny drop of cement on the thread under side where the skirt is wrapped.

Here is a link to where I learned it.

Hey I forgot one thing and sometimes I do this too. The variation on this has a squirrel hair tail too. The White legs is also the main pattern, but I have done these in 3 colors plus have also done others like maybe one with Hot Orange legs. Think most colors will work, but never forget the White!
