I am thinking it would depend a lot on what kind of trolling you doing. Slow Trolling is a bit different than long lining even both are actually slow. I usually just use one jig, but have at times used a heavy jig with a fly types jig above that and did catch some on the little fly thing as well the larger jig, but for this I was not long lining.
