Received another big batch of feathers.
Really nice big clumps of feathers
All sorted out and in the washing tubs
Right now they're soaking in Dawn and borax, I shake them up every 15 minutes or so and then I'll rinse and dry them.

Nice Doug. Good looking flanks.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Got plenty to keep you tieing for a while.
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing
They're all done - got 3 packed full gallon zip bags, one mallard flank, one gadwall, and one teal. Had some that I had to toss as they were messed up beyond repair but I got a lot even then. I'll add these to all the others I've received this year.
Somewhere there's a bald bird wondering why he's cold. Laughing!
Great at looking box of feathers. I wish I still raised chickens. I had some good looking Wyandottes at one time.
Yeah I have a bunch!!LOL
HMK - I actully did a trade for some of the Wyandotte feathers and they are nice!!!
Man just typed a post and it didn't take, Sheesh! Anyway here is main jest. I got a couple guys to bring me some duck feathers a couple years ago, I ended up with 2 5 gallon buckets full and lots of wood duck in the mix. Then I had bought a bunch of the packs too. Plus someone had a pound of mallard flank and had a decent price on that I bought. So way more than I will ever use. I have also hunted my entire life and don't think I ever shot a Wyandotte. So what the heck kind of feathers in that, LOL?
being a chicken most just cut their heads off!!LOL I'm at work so I'll just post a link I have the silver laced ones
