    Skip, you commented on a post about the head of a grey ghost not having something in it to keep it shiny. What would keep the head shiney?

    I think he meant to let it oxidize and not coat it with clear powder paint, silver powder paint, or other clear coats.

    Babbitt can be added for hardness and more shine as I understand it. Just don't want too much I guess! I don't know a thing about it, but think the mix one uses in their lead makes a big difference! I don't know enough about this to help much more than that though, sorry!

    Wheel Weight lead has a harder composition and shines different than pure does, and doesn't oxidize as fast. It's more temperamental but it can be poured in most any size with a little practice. I have a gray PP that a friend gave me that I'm waiting to try with high hopes. Gotta thaw out sometime.
