I had posted the results of the Veniards fly dye and the fl. red didn't come out the way I wanted, the stem was red but the rest of the feather had an orange tint -


The re-dye, a stronger dye/vinegar mix ended up giving them more of a tangerine look


I'm thinking that unlike the Kool-Aid and RIT dye's which a re-dye will help firm up the color, the Veniards doesn't darken it up and you'll have to start with fresh un-dyed feathers. But the color is still good.
