The hooks are Damiki (not Daiichi) hooks, I don't know if they are even on the market in the US, a friend of mine from over there sent about 500 over and I'm putting them to work. They are a standard size 2, blk nkl finish and needle points. That is all I know about them. They feel really sharp, like Gammie's.

River bass liked those Float n Flies that I tied. I am posting this as a follow up to my Float n Fly post last week.....
    I got 'em wet.

Technique: not so Float n Fly
    Rod: Dobyn's Champion 681 SF
    Reel: Shimano Sahara 1000FI
    Line: InvizX 6lb
Bait: 1/8oz bass colored Float n Fly jig

I was casting this jig without the float to the current breaks where all along this crystal clear river the bass stack up like cordwood. I started out sight fishing them but the bass hit them aggressively so I didn't need to sight fish, they hit them hard.

This guy was the first to introduce himself to my home made jig.

First decent one of the day

    and another

    and ........lunker.

In all, I caught 43 bass today, pretty typical day for me on this river. About half came on the F+F, the rest were on a drop shot and a few on a wacky Senko. I caught this guy too......I do not know my sunfish....I think it is a red breast sunfish? Got a few nice bluegills as well.

Very nice ties. Would like to know if your tying and selling any of those jigs. Hooks sound interesting. PM me if you'd sell a few tied with those hooks.
