    BTW, after the prop bait were mentioned I thought I would say I do know crappie will hit them. I made some and used one a little in spring of 2013, matter of fact my first crappie caught that spring was on one of my prop baits. Then I just went right to my main squeeze in spring the old Roadrunners and didn't go back. Shame on me as I bought a good many of the props too, LOL!

    I have not yet made any with the small blade in the back it's something for me to experiment with. are they very effective?.
