    Default Tonight's Class

We had a good turn out tonight. There were several women and children here for tonight's class. The teacher did the perch and several of us were looking on with our mouth open. The whole time I'm watching, I'm wondering how in the world am I going to remember all these steps. The teacher did this one.

i suppose he saw how dumbfounded some of us looked, so he showed us this one. I tied it. He said it's a Cypert Minnow.

Take good notes in class about the basics and the color combinations and then go home to practice and experiment. That top one is a great bluegill imitation. Looks like he put down a base of thread, tied in orange marabou. then a wisp of creamy pearl marabou, added some tie in eyes, and topped it off witih olive marabou. Use scissors to trim and shape a body. Just my own imagination folks. Probably what I will try later today.
