    Default Split ring pliers

Gonna need to change some horse head blades out and pour some new heads in the future. I am looking for what is the best split ring plier to use. I bought some mustards at walmart and they are too big.

these ones at link below only go down to a size 1 i think the two above would work best if they go down to 00 size split rings? i use to have a pair that was like hemostat pliers that worked awesome.

I have been using these for years and have tried buying others including that other link above to Barlow's and still keep coming back to these!

ABH, this is the one's I use. I had to take the tip to the grinder and dress it down a little to fit the small split rings. Bought one of those from Netcraft and didn't like them at all. Gave them to a buddy that was working with larger split rings.

I still have and use the old cheap Worth split ring pliers and they work well for me but got a new pair of the Texas Tackle split ring pliers from Cabelas, had a gift card and I'm really liking them. With the tips they don't overspread the ring. A lot of the guys also use Xuron

I use a Knife with just the right size blade to open the small "o" rings. I magnatized the knife so the rings are easy to pick up. This works good for me...

The very best thing I have found and it is what I recommend to my customers is a pair of "jawed" tweezers out of a suture kit. My best friend works in a trauma ward and gets me the kits that they throw away. You should check them out.
