I have some in 1/0 and have had great success with heads up to 1/4 but the wire isn't tough enough for some of the large fish. Had a Smallie straighten one enough to get loose. The heavier hooks that would hold the Smallie's wouldn't fit my mold, and they weren't sickles. Just got to remember to keep the drag set right.
