Default A Challenge For The Professionals

This is one of my favorite color combos in a tube jig. Problem is, they don't make this particular color anymore. Its a blue body with a skirt that is not clear, but not white. Kinda semi transparent with blue glitter. you can click on the picture to enlarge the image. I'm trying like crazy trying to get it right. I've come close but its still not exact.was hoping some of you experts could tie one for me. Please list the materials you used along with your pic, so I know what I need to tie it, thanks a bunch.

I'd say winter run blue would be the closest color chenille for the body. A lot of the online shops carry it, and it's made by Cascade Crest so fly shops should have it as well.

If you want the glitter tail, you're going to have to use silicone skirt material. Looks like smoke with blue glitter would be closest. I looked around a bit online and found some with blue/black flake, but none with just blue. Maybe that would work?
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

Looks like the head is Flame Red to me and I would probably use Royal Blue big crystal chenille, but you could also use a Royal Blue Rayon chenille and then if you want that same tail you will need to buy some skirt material. This way the blue is close and you can probably find the skirt material at the link below.

Thanks for the tie kickingback! And all the info. I'll check into some supplies. I order stuff with great intentions but it looks a lot different once I get en tied.
