Nice thanks for the info. Being that big a 5 wt. is the best choice. A guy at warm water fly fishing used some of the grey stuff and said it was really tough to paint, never tried it before mostly flies for me.

Thanks guys. Doug they are the hard bodies and these are big poppers with a hook size being 1/0. The poppers are around 3'' to 3 1/2'' long. I tied one on Saturday while fly fishing to see how they would work and they are sweet and worked well on the 5 wt rod I was using.

Is this also known as the "chuck and duck". ??? A 3" popper on a 5wt, you are a lot braver than me. I'd have the popper stuck somewhere not even remotely close to a fish. LOL
