    On my Black I take the head and soot it black with a candle then coated with a clear with silver or Chartruse glitter also do the blades that way. Comes out pretty nice. I like that combo with Chartruse and Black plastics.

    Made me jealous. Wishing I were a crappie sp I could have those for lunch. Love all of them. I also would like to know more about the process you used to get them the way you did. Wonderful job.

    Just basic feathers, and zonker strips and the others are basic maribou. The black paint is just black clear and silver irredescent glitter. The bottom one I flattened the little lead eyes so the side was flat. The bottom color is white pearl/w a blue mix. The blades are just heated and the powder brush tapped on then baked.
