    Default Road Runner Fly Pattern

Skip, have you ever tried this pattern on a Road Runner or would it make the body to wide for the blade.

Well not sure, but probably a larger Roadrunner would be easier but as long as you don't leave the rabbit thick at the head it may not matter. The chenille and tie off point on a runner is farther away than on a fly hook plus once the rabbit is wet it will lay down a good bit. Like the idea though.

Len - tie it the same way but put the hook up in your vise. You'll have to use a razor blade or x-acto blade to cut a small slit to put the hook through, then tie it all the same. Doing it this way you won't have any problems with the blade getting hung up.
