Tackle shops in sc are full of them! I got to take one apart to see how it's done! Orange safety ribbon gum foil on one and reflective white on the other. Looks like kip tail and mig Krystal flash

Yes they look like they just tie a kip tail jig and add that piece of tape over the whole thing to like add something that looks a bit like a folded wing.

Red /yellow/white is a killer color around here that he ties but all will catch fish. Heck of a nice guy, I called James a few years ago to make an order and we talked for an hour, even invited me up to fish with him.

skip you can tie them up many different ways I use some reflector tape also you can use vinyl sheeting it comes in sheets and cut out your own design you can get the vinyl in many different colors it is available online. we do tie above version of this little jig I find them quite fascinating the thing with the reflector tape is that you will get more flash to attract more fish the reflector tape you can buy and many different colors as I mentioned about the vinyl comes in zillions of different colors we tied a few up using some marabou.

That is sharp!! Never thought of that before! Thanks for sharing. My oldest likes to try to use things he finds around the house. He is VERY inventive. I'll pass this one on to him. We'll be chewing lots of gum for a while. lol.

Is there as specific shape that you are after so when it folds over you have the winged effect?? I know you can do anything since you are cutting it out. Does it hold its shape well in the water and after a few strikes?

Sorry for all the questions, but those are sweet!
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 25:15
