Knot to finish off a jig???? Shoot man, when you ready to tie off with the knot, just run some super glue about 1/2 inch down the thread then wrap that. It will stick real good, not come undone either. I don't know any knots....HaHaHa.

That whip knot seems to be all inclusive! It gathers the sink, dog house, chickens, time share! Where does it stop? Hey! It's still slipping though!

A good whip finish will not slip! Also you will never find a hard spot on my jigs where glue is placed!

I've tied 2 now that I've managed to loop the eye once. My first one (which Bobo immediatly slapped the back of my hand with a ruler), and then one I had planned on sending in the swap. It is a flou pink and hot pink thread. I didn't even see it until I was doing a final inspection of the jig before bagging. Oh well, it'll stay in my jig box and I'll do another one. I'm down to 5 jigs plus one for the Miester, so' Im in good shape

What I should have said instead of slipping is, it still draws up when you tighten it.

Yes it does. I always chinch up my knot when done and hope not to break it even though that still will work as well. Lots of guys use smaller thread and can break it off in place of cutting it with scissors.
