Nice jigs, and like the last one best. You'll find the peacock herl breaks easy but works well until then, and the rubber ones will have you buying spinnerbait skirts just to get some cool different stuff, and they really produce. Try this one; white 1.8 head with red eye, red or hot pink 210 thread, and round white rubber for the skirt. No flash or other stuff unless you have a strand or two of red to mix on the bottom of the jig. I caught loads on mine till a tree jumped on it and I couldn't land it. Time of year for me to tie another just like it.

Nice will agree with Pepop that the second one is a Cracker Jack. Change the forth one down to a hot pink head and tie the body and the tail the same and it will be a killer also. Don't see why more don't use Peacock it is great material maybe it is just to hard to handle and get tied in right. Love to tie with the Peacock sword feathers some of the most effective patterns that I have. They work great for just a wing and that is enough to fool a lot of the great big old fat slab Crappies.

After reading Skeetbum's post I will have to say that the Herl from the eye is hard to work with. But you will be amazed at how easy the swords are to work with. the Herl from the eye feathers work best if they are soaked in glycerin the fibers from the sword are much easier worked and require no special preparation. Not only that but they have a natural curve to them that makes them ideal for a wing to a jig. Roll a bunch around and they make a very neat tail and they are easily trimmed.
