how to your spools with balk spools.

I buy a lot of my thread and bulk spools and put them on the smaller spools for jig trying to use my cordless drill and I put in a 3/16 socket it fits the smaller schools just press on the socket and you can feel the spools fast as you want.

If I had 3-4 colors of thread I used A LOT, where might I get thread in bulk spools like those 2 smaller one's? Would that be Flat Waxed - 210 Denier?

I buy a lot of my bulk spools from Walmart also you can go to a seamstress store or sewing store and buy bulk spools I doubt there will be flat wax but you can get the diameter thread that you want a lot of times I will use a thicker thread that they use for sewing heavy fabric you can get quite a few of them in bulk spools also you can check online and Google you will find plenty of thread all over the place.

OK, another (probably dumb) question. When looking at "sewing" thread, what does the # mean? Like #33 or #52. For instance, 1 listed as "Bonded #33 Nylon Thread" or another "Blind Stitch Thread #52 (.010)

Okay you see if I could stick my foot in my mouth I'm guessing that the numbers on the spools #33 would be stock numbers they will usually tell you the diameter of the thread by 3/0 or 210 but they will usually indicate that not all the time but I'm assuming that the step that you are seeing is stock numbers I could be wrong.

Thanks I will stick with my waxed 210. I do have to spool some of my thread on my auto bobbins and Nor has a little fitting for the spools that fits on the drill and the. What ever through the spool I am taking it from and don't dog too fast, but easy to do. However it doesn't hold 100 yards of 210, but I do love the auto bobbin. They are really useful when tying some things. Also though the Nor has no bobbin rest like most vises, they have a post that is for that plus lots of other things that you place like 14" away from the vise.

beside if I want a lot of a color I just get a box of 12 spools and the. They are cheaper when bought from the MFG. Anyone want that much of a color I can save them a good bit on thread.

they do have thread in 2 to 3 colors or more and Rod building thread you can get that from any mail order catalog that handle supplies for Rod building it would be probably a little bit smaller diameter but it is good stuff it is strong just an ideal that I thought of.
