    I've caught more sacalait on 1/4 oz jig than I have ever on a 1/32 oz jig. Guess it just depends on how we fish…
    All of these are sweet looking, Vernon.
    Great work!
    Thanks MS. I plan to tie several 1/4oz jigs in proven Fall/Winter pattern's. Here's a comparison;
    Ball Heads & Walleye Heads, 1/16oz, 1/8oz & 1/4oz

    Chub Heads - 1/16oz & 1/4oz, Ultra Minnow - 1/4oz & 1/8oz

    The small head on the left is 1/16oz chub head, the blue/chartreuse on the right is a 1/8oz ultra minnow. The chub I got from RonDon & the ultra minnow from my fishin Padna.

    While Todd Huckabee is right, let us not forget sometimes a little bait will catch a big old fat crappie too. I have caught a lot of big ones on 1/32 Oz Roadrunners and even some little tiny short jigs that Blue Fox use to make and I still have some of them as well. Cute little suckers.

    You're absolutely right Skip! That's why I keep all sizes in my box, all except 1/32oz. I just never have been able to feel one without a split shot on the line too. Dead hands I guess.

    Guess you need to make a trip down here in the spring fishing one day. I can show you how a 1/32 oz works and you don't even have to work hard with lots of casting. Cast and pull it back in when a fish is on, LOL!
