Really enjoyed your visit Bob and am looking forward to your move here. I need another good fishing partner as I have to go so much by my self because my wife works and my neighbor still is working for a few more years! It will be nice to have another friend to share the boat with!
we will show you some more good eating places and maybe a good crawfish boil too!

Nice post Bob, enjoyed the pic as well at Skip's place. Try to make our Toledo Bend gathering at the end of January. Skip knows where it is at. We enjoyed your stuff you gave us for our ditty bags last time. Thanks again.

Bob is a quite generous guy Randy and I bet if he's here by then he will come with me over there. I had a blast last time meeting all the guys and some good eats as well. I will bring some stuff and feel sure Bob will too.

Rouge or Rogue? Not good to hear ya taking a hiatus, as I've always enjoy your input, commentary and ties. I highly disagree with your suggestion of no innovation. I have seen work and patterns on this AND Other jig crafting sites that are downright slap outta the box and just plain magnificent. Bottom line is a lot of people tie very similarly bc it's just that, the style is proven and most just want to catch fish. Head, body, tail. Sure anyone can get a new material and claim it as new style with old technique or even a newer technique that really looks no diff the old technique.
Check out Pup, Toad Frog, etc etc. The innovation is there, just not widely accepted. There's always something new around if you wanna find it.
Whatever you do in your time away, I hope you find gratifying. If you travel my way, you're welcomed in my paddle boat any time.
If you do take the time to make a new style lead head mold, make sure to take plenty of pics of the process and progression. I really think a lot of new things can come from new molds that anglers can make themselves and you have the knowledge and know how.
    Happy Journeys.

Stick your nose in and say hey now and then Redman. Some of you might have noticed that I dropped way off in my posts. Job situation has changed yet again and I'm not home as much and have tons to do when I get here. My tying is way down too, and that bothers me. I'm kicking the idea around to make a travel box to carry with me, but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Redman, I hope you do come back cuz I always enjoyed your work AND your input. The camaraderie we share here is as much a part to me as the work we do. God Bless and come back soon........Skeet.
