First my friend you want to attract the fish. Most Crappie will love anything with Chartreuse in it because it shows up well in stained water. Another color is hot florescent pink. A third color would be to add black to either of the first two I mentioned and hahve a two color lure. After you attract the Crappie then you trigger them to bite your lure by how you move the jig. Most times less is more because the Crappie will take time and study the offering and then inhale it. Welcome from Alabama.
