    Default Float-n-fly jigs


    I changed gears this weekend to think of this winter...used a thread given by a member here to modify a round head and added 3-D eye, had fun tying these craft hair flies.tying these is another passion I have. Plus they catch fish...

    Great ties. I like the undertones at the undersides of the jigs. Very artistic!

    I think it was on you tube modifying a round ball jig...used needle noise pliers set jig in with hook eye in the centre of the pliers where the flat part of pliers not the cutters. Squeeze to flatten out,,,looks just like a aspirin head and the weight forward really makes a difference. And you can tight line the jig as well under a cork!
