Got a spinner frame with jigs in a prize pack and when I opened it I really didn't like the way the jigs were attached. I've been making spinners and beetle spin frames since the 80's so I pulled out my wire and redisigned it
With the ends opened
With my tiny purples attached
Sat down to tie last night and didn't do it as I had a new idea for the frame and changed it a little more. Added an extra circle and atttached a swivel and blade. I kinda messed up because on one of them I forgot to put the spring closure on before I formed the end, luckily I had an extra long piece of wire and cut it off and fixed it.

Fatman that looks like it will work great ...... a question sir why not just add the spinner blade to the center line tie and skip the second circle bend..... just an idea
I thought about that and thought that the blade would be ticking against the top straight wire or worse flip over it. being on the second one the blade should ride in the middle and besides the noise from the spinning blade hopefully it will make a small bubble trail.
understood sir, I'd put the same bend in the top arm as you have in the bottom arm and then add your spinner blade in the middle line tie area I'm referring to the rig with the two purple jigs, I'd like to buy 3 or 4 from you to do some test,s I think that is a great idea kind of like a mini Alabama rig only with two arms
I know the tops ones work because I have tested some and they pull very well. The new ones, I'm not sure they will run right. With the top ones the top wire (jig) runs in line and the bottom wire (jig) follows below the top jig. I believe with the new bends in the new frames that they will tend to want to twist while being pulled causing them spin. Not sure but that is what I think will happen after testing the first ones.?
If it was me I would stay with the top wire frame and use jigs with spinners.

Notice I didn't make alot of them!!!!!LOL Hoping to try them this weekend but we're getting lots of storms. Two of them the bending of the wire loops is in line, the other one is bent opposite which I think will help them run straight but we'll find out!!!
Short grub tried to send you a PM but your box is full!!!
I fixed FatMan thank you sir
